Bill McCollum
Bill McCollum is a conservative politician, currently the attorney general of Florida, and he said that it is unconstitutional to require U.S. citizens to purchase health insurance. [1] Bill McCollum previously served in the United States House of Representatives for 20 years. As a congressman, he was a strong supporter of the impeachment of Bill Clinton. As Florida's attorney general, Bill McCollum has been a strong advocate of the protection of children, particularly against online predators. As attorney general, Bill McCollum, along with the has announced plans to file a suit against the federal government for passing the healthcare reform bill as it is unconstitutional.[1]
McCollum sought the Republican nomination for Governor of Florida in the 2010 election, but lost to Rick Scott in the primary election.[2]
