A fork is a utensil with two or more prongs used in the serving, or eating of food. It is thought to have been invented in ancient Persia.[1]
Types
There are many different kinds of forks used for different occasions. There are different forks for eating salad, shrimp, fish, and relish. Forks are typically made of metal but can be made of other materials as well, such as plastic.
