Entitlements

Entitlements are benefits which the government provides to Americans who qualify because of their age, income, and/or status.

Example include benefits payable to children who live below the poverty line, the disabled, and veterans, as well as tax reductions for wealthy Americans, although wealthy Americans shouldn't have to pay so much in the first place.
