A little bit about me
I'm a wife, a mother of 2 teenagers, owner of many, many cats and a proud and very grateful kidney transplant recipient.
I love history, literature, sewing, and historical re-enacting. In fact, I met my husband at a re-enactment, some (many) years ago.
I was raised a Lutheran, but don't attend church regularly as I've come to distrust organized religious institutions, due to some unpleasant personal experiences. I believe in an old Earth. I am a reluctant believer in the Second Amendment even though I hate guns personally, and I do question people's desire for high-power rifles, including my husband. I will always support our soldiers, even though I question the need for wars.
I don't believe in censorship. I believe facts (with proper citations) should be provided without editorial, because I think readers should be allowed to make their own decisions. I dislike the labels of 'conservative' and 'liberal' as pejoratives. It becomes too easy to attack the person, rather than the idea.
