Ferdinand Porsche (September 3, 1875 – January 30, 1951) was a famous engineer and designer of cars and tanks for the Nazis. He designed the VW Beetle with Hitler. After the war and his war crimes (for using slave labor) trials he and his son opened a sports car company called Porsche.

Porsche attended grammar school in his home town and the State Vocational School in Reichenberg.[1] He became an apprentice plumber under his father, but taught himself engineering to follow his own path in life.
