Einstein's cosmological constant is NOT kept by "relativists" to allow the Big Bang model. It is NOT REQUIRED for the classic Big Bang model. The modified cosmological constant which some people hypothesise to be dark energy is part of the INFLATIONARY model, not the classic Big Bang one. In addition, claims to have disproved dark energy but have the work suppressed by "relativists" seem to be a bit ambitious and possibly premature. --JMairs 19:16, 23 August 2011 (EDT)
