Pinot noir

Pinot noir is the preeminent red grape variety in many of the world’s finest wine growing regions, such as the Pacific Northwest of the United States; Burgundy and Champagne, in France; and Kent, in England.
In Burgundy, pinot noir is used to make some of the most highly regarded red wines anywhere on Earth, but many experts believe that, as Pinot noir tends to produce its best wines in areas of lower temperatures, various regions further north may well eclipse the famous vineyards of the Cote d’Or in the very near future.
