Lava

Lava is molten rock from the Earths Core. Lava's differ in chemical composition, but most forms of lava average 3000-4000 degress fahrenheit. Lava's can be rhyolitic in composition. Lava has only been observed on earth and other planets to emanate from a planetary core through ruptures in the planetary crust. One notable exception was the Biblical account of Sodom and Gommorah, in which God is claimed to cause lava to materialize over a large area of two cities from the sky. No such phenomena has been observed in modern times.
