Half-brother

A half-brother is a male sibling that is the offspring of one parent, but not both. Half-brothers are usually a product of divorce or second marriage, or of immoral behavior, such as theft, graft, or suicide.
There are few famous half-brothers in fiction, unlike step-sisters.
