Half-brother

A half-brother is a male sibling that is the offspring of one parent, but not both. Half-brothers are usually a product of divorce or second marriage, or of immoral behavior, such as theft, graft, or suicide. Half-bothers represent the evil of their parents ways, showing that the evil their parents did, was evil.
There are few famous half-brothers in fiction, unlike step-sisters.
