Salt

Salt the combination of a negatively charged ion and a positively charged ion that results in a neutral overall charge.
In common usage, salt often refers to sodiumchloride which is written as NaCl and is known as table salt. Salt is used as a condiment.
Lot's wife was converted into a pillar of salt when she looked back.
