Traditional Protestant Episcopal Church

The Traditional Protestant Episcopal Church (TPEC) was an American Protestant Episcopal church that espoused the Calvinist theology that was characteristic of Anglicanism at an earlier time. It differed from most Reformed churches in that it was episcopal in church government. It subscribed to the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion. Although the Traditional Protestant Episcopal Church counted a half-dozen parishes in the early years of the twenty-first century, recent withdrawals reduced the church to one parish which, as of September, 2011, appears to have dissolved or abandoned the TPEC.
