Robin Askwith was an English actor prominent in the 1970s, notable for his tragi-comic performances in the 'Confessions' series of films, a series of meditations on the dichotomy of the professional and private existence, and the inherent contradictions of a society that refuses to acknowledge the hypocrisy of their enforced separation.
