Enrico Anthony "Rick" Lazio (born March 13, 1958 in Amityville, New York) served as a Republican U.S. Representative from New York's 2nd congressional district from 1993 through 2001. He rose to the rank of Deputy Majority Whip and later the Assistant Majority Leader. Lazio served on both the Commerce and Banking Committees and was chairman of the Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity.
