Conrad Nicholson Hilton ( 1887 – 1979 ), was an American business owner, hotel magnate. Born December 25, in San Antonio, New Mexico. The son of a local grocer, Hilton took over his father's general store at the age of 21. He then entered politics, serving two terms in the New Mexico State Legislature.
