Supersymmetry

Supersymmetry (or SUSY) is a theory of particle physics that seeks to explain the symmetry observed between the families of elementary particles known as Bosons and Fermions. Supersymmetry predicts that every fundamental fermion has a bosonic superpartner, and every fundamental boson has a fermionic superpartner. In 2008, the Large Hadron Collider at CERN will offer the best chance to detect these new particles predicted by Supersymmetry.
