Damages to USS Gerald R. Ford after seeing action in Operation Epic Fury against Iran.

The USS Gerald R. Ford is the lead ship of the Ford class, the newest class of aircraft carriers. Not surprisingly, at $13 Billion it is the most expensive ship ever built.

It is supposedly the most "advanced" ship ever built, but it has had repeated problems since entering service, most notably (and embarrassingly) a problem with its toilets while on deployment.

After the unprovoked attacked on Venezuela in early 2026, the Gerald Ford was sent on an extended deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Epic Fury, the unprovoked attack on Iran. The ship's toilets soon began to overflow, with T-shirts and mop heads flush down the ship's sewage system.

The Gerald Ford was withdrawn from service in March 2026 after seeing action in Operation Epic Fury.
