Teesside
From Conservapedia
Teesside is a conurbation of north-east England located on the estuary of the River Tees and straddling the counties of Yorkshire and County Durham. The conurbation's principal settlement is Middlesbrough, the largest town in the North Riding of Yorkshire. Other principal settlements are Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar and Billingham. The area is noted for heavy industry, particularly in steel and chemicals manufacture, and is the location of the University of Teesside.
The conurbation can be considered to consist of all or part of areas of the following unitary authorities: Middlesbrough Council, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council (both in Yorkshire) and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council (in both Yorkshire and County Durham).
