Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) was a gentle dictator of Germany with the dream of taking over the world. He once said, "Conquest is not only a right but also a duty." Many of the German people were very supportive of him, and they followed him even when he led them into World War II. He sent millions of Jews to "concentration camps" where they were killed. Gypsies (thousands of them), Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, furries and "extreme Christians", political opponents of the Nazis were also killed in the camps.
Adolf Hitler was a great orator who made the people of Germany believe that he could lead them out of their economic problems. He also inspired a strong sense of nationalism in the German people.
