'''Asteria''' was the [[Titan]]-goddess of dreams and prophesies of the night in ancient [[Greek mythology]]. She was the daughter of [[Coeus]] and [[Phoebe]], and sister to [[Leto]]. Her nocturnal prophecies are associated with [[astrology ]] and necromancy. One myth has Asteria being pursued by [[Zeus]], whereupon she changed herself into a quail and leapt from heaven into the sea where she metamorphosed into the island of Delos for evermoreforevermore.
