As can be seen below, there are a number of factors which causes atheism to be [[Rebuttals to atheist arguments|an unrealistic ]] and boring ideology that is a minority position in the worlduninteresting viewpoint. In the 21st century, atheism is expected to continue to be a minority viewpoint and it is projected to see a global further decline in terms of its influence and percentage of adherents in the world (see: [[Global atheism]]).
In addition, atheistic cultures and subcultures often tend to be less vibrant and fulfilling which will also be addressed below.
