Avram David (Avi) Lewis is a left-wing Canadian political activist. He is the grandson of socialist Canadian politician David Lewis.
Lewis is known for his strong anti-American views. On June 11, 2007, he held a controversial interview with feminist political writer Ayaan Hirsi Ali in which he was very vocal about his ultra left-wing philosophy and vehement anti-United States stance.[1]
