A breast exam is a non-invasive technique routinely done by physicians and women to identify abnormalities in breast tissue. Early detection is of key importance when considering the efficacy of treatment options. Women over the age of 35 are highly recommended to examine themselves monthly or bimonthly depending upon frequency of sex, age and other risk factors.
