C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America is a 2004 American film written and directed by Kevin Willmott. The film takes place in an alternate universe in which the Confederate States of America won the American Civil War.

Plot
The film is presented as though it were a British documentary (actually titled C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America) being presented on a Confederate television network. The documentary is apparently controversial due to its disagreement with orthodox American views of American history, but is being shown in its entirety by popular demand. There are also short commercial breaks advertising racist products - some of which were real-life American products, including Darkie Toothpaste[1] and the Coon Chicken Inn restaurant chain.[2]
American Civil War
The documentary segments detail the history of America from the American Civil War to the present day. The chief turning-point, however, is the Battle of Gettysburg, which - thanks to the successful diplomacy of Judah P. Benjamin - includes British and French troops fighting with the Confederacy, thus turning the tide in favour of the South.
The Union forces later surrender to the Confederacy, and Abraham Lincoln is arrested after attempting to flee to Canada in blackface. After serving two years imprisonment, Lincoln is pardoned (in an effort to appease the conquered North) and is exiled to Canada, where he dies of old age.
