Chevy Van is a popular song released by Sammy Johns in 1973, from his debut album also titled Sammy Johns. It would reach #5 on the pop charts, his only top 10 hit.

The song struck a chord with the public due to its "free love" message and its ties to the "vansploitation" films of the 1970s (films that prominently featured a van as essential to the film's plot). In it, a singer (singing in first person) picks up an attractive female who is hitchhiking, and ultimately the two engage in sexual intercourse in the back of his Chevrolet van. Afterwards, he drops her off in a small town with "a dirt road Main Street" that was "so small, you could throw a rock from end to end", and laments that he "won't be passing through again".
