Chris Nowinski is a former collegiate football player and retired sports entertainer. He founded the Sports Legacy Institute with Dr. Robert Cantu to study the effects of concussions on athletes.[1] The group has been involved in investigations of the deaths of Chris Benoit and Andre Waters. Nowinski has talked about the issue on such programs as ESPN's Outside the Lines and HBO's Real Sports. He has also written a book entitled, "Head Games: Football's Concussion Crisis".
