Cutty Sark

Cutty Sark the last tea clipper. She is a world-famous ship. At present at the dry dock at Greenwich, London, England. The name came from the garment worn by the witch Nannie in Robert Burns's poem Tam O'Shanter.
History
On November 22, 1869, a beautiful little clipper ship was launched from Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The Cutty Sark was destined for the tea trade, from China to London. She was built for John 'Jock' Willis, a sailing ship master. The ship was designed by Hercules Linton. CUTTY SARK History
Fire
21 May 2007, a devastating fire swept through the Cutty Sark, at Greenwich. The fire was extinguished by the London Fire Brigade.
