Distributive property

In mathematics, if one has two binary operations <math>*</math> and <math>*'</math> over a set <math> A </math> then we say that <math> * </math> distributes over <math> *' </math> if for all <math>x,y,z</math> in A <math> x*(y*'z) = (x * y) *'(x * z)</math>. A common example of operations with the distributive property is the example of multiplication distributing over addition.
