Extracurricular activities

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Aziraphale (Talk | contribs) at 04:30, July 24, 2007. It may differ significantly from current revision.

A non-curricular club is a school club unrelated to coursework, such as a cheerleading club that does not offer credit to students.

A non-curricular club does not have as much publicity rights as a curricular club under the Equal Access Act. This becomes important because Bible-study and homosexual school clubs cannot be anything other than non-curricular in nature. If a public school does not allow any non-curricular clubs, then it can prohibit Bible-study and homosexual clubs also.
