I Manipulate is a Christian song performed by Steve Taylor, featured on his 1985 album On The Fritz.
The song is a criticism of the teachings of Bill Gothard, notably his views on absolute obedience to authority and his view that women were to be totally subservient to men and children to their parents (he taught that children should not leave home until marriage).
