- Gulf War (2 August 1990 – 28 February 1991, United States liberates Kuwait, and enters Iraq)
- Operation Iraqi Freedom ( 2003-present, United States and ally forces remove the Saddam Hussein's Ba'athist regime.[Citation Needed])
