Jay Nixon was the Democrat governor of Missouri from 2009 to 2017. Previously, he served as the Attorney General of the state. His most famous action as attorney general was the creation of the "No-Call List", an anti-telemarketer bill that prosecuted telemarketers who called names on the list.
