John Swinney

John Swinney (b. 1964) is a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the far-left Scottish National Party. He is to assume to role of First Minister of Scotland (the head of the Scottish Government) on 8 May 2024, succeeding the Humza Yousaf (2023-2024).
