Kristi Noem (b. November 30, 1971) is the Republican Representative for the United States House of Representatives from South Dakota. She was first elected in 2010, defeating incumbent Democrat Stephanie Herseth Sandlin. She is Pro-life, a rancher, a mother of three, a hunter and a conservative who represents South Dakota state House of Representatives since 2006. Right before being elected to Congress served as the Assistant Majority Leader. [1] Kristi Noem and her family lives on a ranch where they raise Angus cattle and show Quarter Horses.
