Leonard Jeffries is a former professor at City College New York. He is known for promoting conspiracy theories about the Jewish origin of the Transatlantic Slave Trade, as well as his theories about Ice People and Sun People, representing his views of blacks and whites. His views led to his high profile firing and legal battle from CUNY. His ideas about the cruelty of Ice People are believed to have originated with Cheikh Anta Diop, a controversial revisionist historian.
His nephew is Hakeem Jeffries.
