Myopia

Myopia is an ophthalmic condition in which distant objects are not seen clearly. It is also called nearsightedness. A person who is myopic, or short-sighted can often have an eye exam and receive a prescription for corrective lenses (eyeglasses) which will aid them in seeing distant objects.
