Naz Durakoglu is a Turkish-American who is the Assistant Secretary of State for legislative affairs in the U.S State Department under the Biden Junta.^[1]

Career

Durakoglu is the Senior National Security Advisor to Senator Jeanne Shaheen and the minority staff director of the U.S Senate's NATO observer group. She also directs all hearings, executive branch nominations and legislation related to the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Europe and Regional Security Cooperation where Shaheen serves as the ranking member.^[2] Durakoglu served in the Obama administration as Senior Adviser to the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Victoria Nuland, from 2015-2017. ^[3]
