Neornithes

Neornithes is the scientific term (phylogenetic nomenclature) for modern birds. Modern birds are a group of animals that all posses similar physical, anatomical and biological features. Some of these features are (but are not limited to): feathers, wings, egg-laying, lightweight bones, and toothless beaks.
