Parti Liberal du Quebec

The Liberal Party of Québec (Officially Parti Liberal du Québec)is one of the three major parties in the Canadian Province of Québec and currently in power.
Though named liberal, its idealogy is much more conservative than liberal, and is along with the Action Democratique du Québec one of the province's two right-wing parties. The party is led by Jean Charest, who was formerly the leader of Conservative Party of Canada. Charest has close ties with the Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper.
