Most conservatives support war and fail to see the importance of peace.  The Lord said, however, in his ten commandments that "thou shalt not kill" and he made it clear that any form of killing is murder, punishable with eternal suffering in Hell. That is why peace is so important to any Christian or non-christian with any sort of soul or connection to the human race. Unfortunatly many war-mongers (such as President G.W. Bush or Senator John McCain) often fail to use their hearts or minds and don't take peace as seriously as they should.
