Pierre-Auguste Renoir lived from 1841 to 1919. He was a great painter of Impressionism, perhaps the only artist who never produced a sat painting. He believed that art need to be pretty, and eventually left Impressionism to paint classical nudes. His most famous paintings are "Le Moulin de la Galette" and "The Bathers".
