The Pope (from Latin "papa", father) is the head of the Catholic church. Today the pope is Pope Benedict XVI. He strongly opposes abortion, torture, birth control and pre-emptive war.
For Catholics, the Pope is nowadays infallible in matters of doctrine (see Dictatus Papae).
The Pope travels in two modes of transport. The first is his famous Popemobile, a car surround in bullet-proof glass so that, whilst being protected, he can see his fellow Christians. His secondary mode of transport is the Popeyplane. It is lesser used and has never been photographed. There is very little literature on the Popeyplane, leading some to believe that it does not exist.
