Profanity

Profanity is the usage of abusive, vulgar, or irreverent language, usually derived from things a given culture considers "unclean", "sinful", or the local equivelant. For example, in America, most forms of profanity derive from bodily acts, while in China, most profanity derives from insulting someone's honour.
