Roderick Spode was fictional character in P.G. Wodehouse's "Bertie and Wooster" stories, he was a British politician and founder in the 1930s of the Saviours of Britain, a fascist organisation known as the 'Black Shorts'. Later elevated to the British peerage as Lord Sidcup.

He was a parody of British Fascist leader Oswald Mosley
