Steubenville rape case

The Steubenville rape case was a notable sexual assault case where 2 juvenile offenders raped a 16-year-old girl, during a party. The case garnered significant media attention, due to the barbarity of the assault. The two football players guilty were sentenced to 2 years in juvenile detention for Trent Mays, and 1 year, for Ma'lik Richmond.[1]
