::With many federal/state/province/local governments struggling with their budgets, I would think the hiring of evolutionary biologists at colleges/universities would shrink as a result. Plus, it would not surprise me if many of them were adjunct professors. The real biologists are more likely to get grants to perform useful work and be full time professors.
