:Probably because it generally ISN'T regarded as an anti-Christian organisation, except by a lunatic fringe, and there's no reason whatsoever that it should be. Nothing in Freemasonry is contrary to the teachings of Christianity. The Swedish Rite is ONLY open to christians. Probably because it generally ISN'T regarded as an anti-Christian organisation, except by a lunatic fringe, and there's no reason whatsoever that it should be. Nothing in Freemasonry is contrary to the teachings of Christianity. The Swedish Rite is ONLY open to christians.
