Talk:George Bernard Shaw

Shaw is chiefly known as a playwright, yet you have two long sections on his religion and his politics and a mere couple of sentences about his plays. Isn't that a bit strange? AngusF 21:04, 4 October 2009 (EDT)

In a few hundred years GBS will still be considered one of the great writers of English and his better plays enjoyed as they are today - as will his music criticism which, whilst it tore strips off what he did not like, is considered some of the greatest (I may not agree with some of what he wrote but, by golly, I have enjoyed reading it!) It is this he should be remembered for - and will be remembered for - long after his politics have been forgotten by all but a few with a banner to wave. AlanE 15:20, 19 January 2013 (EST)
