The Christian Post, established in July, 2000, is a daily evangelical newspaper published by the Christian Post Company, which is headquartered in Washington D.C. The newspaper, which is pan-denominational, claims that it is "the most comprehensive and up-to-date source of Christian-related news in America and a majority of the world." [1] The newspaper's online edition is ranked Most Popular In Christianity by Alexa.

Earlier on the same day (December 19, 2019) that its rival Christianity Today published an opinion piece calling for the removal of President Donald Trump, the Post had published an opinion piece by Jack Graham (Senior Pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church -- one of the largest churches in the United States, and a member of the President's Religious Advisory Council) in support of the President.[2]
