Tony Greig, born in South Africa; 1946 - 2012 was a former captain of the England cricket team who later became an icon of Australian cricket commentary. Controversially, he was a prominent member of the rebel World Series of Cricket league in the 1970s which ushered in a new age of professionalism in cricket.
